Ilmenau Science Night (EN)
On Saturday, July 1, starting at 5 p.m., we welcome you to the Ilmenau Science Night - a unique mix of science, technology and culture.
More than 200 program points make science tangible from the city center to the university campus and beyond. They strengthen the close bond between the Ilm district, the city of Ilmenau and the TU Ilmenau, which ensures strong synergies between business and technology and provides important impulses for the region and for securing skilled workers.
Look forward to experimental lectures, laboratory tours and hands-on activities such as Escape Rooms or Science Rallyes. Come and talk to scientists and companies and find out more about the range of Thuringian science and industry at the Study Info Lounge, the Founder Talk or the ThAFF Commuter Day.
With exciting topics such as mobility of the future, energy supply or green electronics, we will answer questions of the time:
What does artificial intelligence have to do with nature conservation? What will environmentally friendly and secure IT of the future look like? And how does science actually work?
The science adventure will be framed by a diverse cultural and music program and an after-show party starting at 10 p.m. on the Ehrenbergwiese, supported by the numerous associations and initiatives of the university.
